# Confirm a phone verification code

> Confirms a code from `POST /v1/send-phone-token`.

- **First verification:** send `phone`, `nationalCode` and `token`.
Your phone and national code are saved and marked verified.

- **Confirming your current phone (before a change):** send your
  current `phone` and `token`, without `nationalCode`. This opens a
5-minute window to change your phone.

- **Finishing a phone change:** send the new `phone`, `nationalCode`
  and `token` within that window.

A newly verified number may also be added as an SMS notification channel.

Too many wrong codes are rejected with `429`.
